We are currently searching for a Quality Control Officer, who will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of food and services offered by the restaurant. This includes ensuring that food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and customer service guidelines are strictly followed and continuously improved upon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor Food Quality: Inspect the food preparation process to ensure food safety standards are met.
* Ensure Hygiene and Safety Standards: Conduct routine inspections of kitchen, dining areas, storage, and sanitation facilities. Collaborate with health inspectors and address any concerns related to hygiene.
* Audit Supplier Quality: Monitor the quality of raw ingredients delivered to the restaurant. Establish corrective actions with suppliers when necessary.
* Customer Service Quality Control: Evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in service and food quality. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and customer service excellence.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality checks, inspections, and any corrective actions taken. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to food and service quality.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and suggest ways to enhance quality standards. Lead initiatives for staff training on quality, safety, and hygiene.
Skills & Qualifications:
– Educational Background: bachelor’s degree in food science, Hospitality Management, or related field. – Experience: 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
– Knowledge: Thorough understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000). Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles.
