Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Pre- Sales and Business Development Engineer for K Companies (KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KUFPEC) tenders management and sales products with quarterly and annually targets. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the acquisition of new projects by efficiently managing the entire tendering process, pre-qualifying companies, and contributing to business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Tender Management:
1. Research and identify potential K Companies tenders and business opportunities in engineering domains such as the low voltage, energy systems, renewable energy, CCTV, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, HVAC, and Safety and related sectors.
2. Evaluate potential inquiries to determine participation feasibility.
3. Gather and compile all necessary documents for tender submissions, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.
4. Prepare and submit tender applications, taking responsibility for accuracy and completeness.
5. Coordinate and follow up on tender progress, addressing any queries or additional information requests promptly.
6. Managing procurement of products and services, including negotiation and drafting of Purchase Orders (P.O) and contracts terms and conditions. Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations.
7. Identifying the right manufacturers and suppliers based on client tender requirements.
8. Maintain an organized database of tender documents, submissions, and outcomes.
9. Negotiating financial, technical, and delivery terms with manufacturers and suppliers to maintain a competitive edge.
Pre-Qualification:
1. Evaluate and pre-qualify companies based on established criteria and standards.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of potential partners and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure pre-qualification standards align with project needs. Business Development:
1. Actively engage in business development activities, including attending industry events, networking, and establishing relationships with potential clients.
2. Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
3. Collaborate with the teams to develop strategies for attracting and securing new projects. CRM Management:
1. Continuously update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate and relevant information.
2. Ensure that all interactions with clients, potential partners, and stakeholders are documented in the CRM. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Preferred)
2. Proven experience in tender management, pre-qualification processes, and business development within the Kuwait market.
3. Strong organizational and project management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
