1. Position Title : Contract Managing Engineer

Reports To : KOC Representative / TAG Operation Manager
SUMMARY:
• Contract Managing Engineer shall liaise with the KOC Superintendent Representative, implements the Contract, submit reports of site work and progress, as well as prepare statistics regarding expenditures, material usage, Contractor’s Manpower data, and bill of materials, or any special task/study that may be requested by KOC.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implements maintenance priorities to comply with the KOC requirements. • Ensures that contractual maintenance obligations are complied with. • Ensures that all safety regulations and all government regulations pertaining to the employment of Contract staff and execution of Works are fully complied with. • Controls the material usage, and expenditure. • Prepares work schedules, monitoring and wok progress. • Prepares reports on expenditures, cost control and invoicing. • Performs computerization of the operations. • Maintains the updated manpower data of the contract. • Ensure proper co-ordination with all disciplines. • Liaises with the Company-appointed other contractors as required for the related jobs

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. • Minimum of 15 years’ experience last 8 years in Maintenance works. • Experience in Construction and maintenance scheduling, such as CPM, or Gantt Charts, using different Computer Software. • Must have a valid Kuwait Driving License. • Must be fluent in spoken and written English.

2. Position Title : Supervising Engineer
Reports To : KOC Representative, Contract Managing Engineer TAG Operation Manager
SUMMARY:
• Supervising Engineer should be well experienced in all type of works required by the Contractor and be fully capable of dealing with the maintenance, construction, modification, renovation and enhancement works of -. He should be familiar with the regulations and procedures in carrying out any modifications, alterations, new installations and minor renovations which may occur as and when required, and be capable of computer aided scheduling of above said works..
• Supervising Engineer shall liaise with KOCSupervisors, Supervisors of Ahmadi Services, and users of facilities as well as other disciplines required for the proper execution of the works. He shall be Over-all Contractor’s Site Representative. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Implementation of the Contract. • Supervisory capacity to serve as lead man for related activities. • Be aware of the latest Safety Regulations. • Prepare work schedules (Bar Charts, CPM’s). • Be able to implement scheduled maintenance, construction, modification, renovation and enhancement works of -. • He shall update the drawings including preparation of new drawings in respect of above said works. • Performs computerisation of the above said works • Maintain records of above said works. • He shall submit the designs and drawings for the proposed works. • Maintain the updated manpower data of the Contract. JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION: • Must have Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent as a minimum qualification with at least ten (10) years of experience in maintenance and construction works of Buildings. • Experience in Construction and maintenance scheduling, such as CPM, or Gantt Charts. • Shall be educated and familiar with Computer Operations. • Experience in MS office, MS Project/Primavera, MS Access. • Using Auto CAD Software for drafting shall be added advantage. • Must have a valid Kuwaiti Driving License. • Must be fluent in spoken and written English. • Membership of Kuwait Society of Engineers shall be preferable

3..Position Title : Engineer –III ( Planning )
Reports To : KOC Representative / TAG Operation Manager / TAG Planning Manager
SUMMARY: • Engineer Planning should be well experienced in all type of works required by the Contractor and be fully capable of dealing with the maintenance, construction, modification, renovation and enhancement works. 4.Position Title : Sr. Engineer – Civil

6. Position Title : Architectural Engineer
SUMMARY: • Architectural Engineer should be well experienced in all type of works required by the KOC and be fully capable of dealing with the maintenance, construction, modification, renovation and enhancement works. He should be familiar with the international standards, regulations and procedures in carrying out any modifications, alterations, new installations and minor renovations which may occur as and when required, and be capable of computer aided scheduling of above said works.. • Architectural Engineer shall liaise with KOC Representatives, Contractor Managing engineer, Contractor Supervising Engineer and Drafts man. • Architectural Engineer shall prepare interior design lay-out and detailed drawings pertaining to his trade and as requested by the KOC Representative. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare Conceptual Architectural designs / Interior designs layout / drawings. • Prepare Architectural drawings (Plan, Elevations & Sectional Elevation) / Interior Design as needed by taking actual observation and measurement at site, and prepare cost estimates. • Prepare specifications for the materials , especially for finishing works • Prepare landscape drawings and cost estimate. • Prepare all necessary working drawings needed for construction, modification, renovation and enhancement / interior design works. • Supervisory capacity to serve as lead man for related activities. • Be aware of the latest Safety Regulations. • Prepare work schedules (Bar Charts, CPM’s). • He shall update the drawings including preparation of new drawings in respect of above said works. • Performs computerisation of the above said works • Maintain records of above said works. JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION: • Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent as a minimum qualification with at least twelve (12) years of experience in maintenance and construction works of -. • Experience in Construction and maintenance scheduling, such as CPM, or Gantt Charts. • Shall be educated and familiar with Computer Operations. • Experience in MS office, MS Project, MS Access. • Experience in using latest version Auto CAD, Archi CAD Software, and 3DS Max. • Must have a valid Kuwaiti Driving License. • Must be fluent in spoken and written English. • Membership of Kuwait Society of Engineers shall be preferred

7. Position Title : Quantity Surveyor
SUMMARY:
• Quantity Surveyor should be well experienced in all type of works required by the KOC and be fully capable of dealing with the maintenance, construction, modification, renovation and enhancement works. He should be familiar with the international standards, regulations and procedures in the preparation of cost estimates and bill of quantities, projects which include new projects and maintenance works i.e. modifications, alterations, renovations and enhancements works to the -. • Quantity Surveyor shall conduct inspection, quantify requirements and prepare cost estimates, preliminary hand sketches and lay outs, program of works, and maintains updated status of Services and Project Contracts and prepares related reports as required. • Quantity Surveyor shall liaise with KOC Representatives, Contractor Managing engineer, Contractor Supervising Engineer and Drafts man. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintains the updated data of the assigned Contract. • Prepares Overall Bar Chart Programme showing any changes in duration or completions of scheduled activities. • Prepares resources requirement including cost estimates for budget proposals and approved projects. JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION: • Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least ten (6) years of experience as Quantity Surveyor in maintenance and construction works of -. • Experience in Construction and maintenance scheduling, such as CPM, or Gantt Charts. • Shall be educated and familiar with Computer Operations. • Must have a valid Kuwaiti Driving License. • Must be fluent in spoken and written English.

8. Position Title : Safety Engineer
SUMMARY: • To ensure that Company’s safety regulations are applied in all KOC areas; to provide advice on safety matters and carry out risk analysis activities on all KOC installations/operations and new projects. Identifies safety hazards and risks and applies control measures to ensure well-being of KOC facilities, employees and contractors. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervises and controls assigned company, personnel engaged in the investigation of accidents, ensuring the application of safety policies and procedures. • Conducts safety Inspections at assigned KOC operational areas and reports findings to supervisor. • Reviews daily reports and recommendations made by subordinates, discusses same in daily meetings with supervisor, where appropriate, and suggests amendments When necessary, discusses recommendations with teams involved prior to implementation or inclusion of procedure in safety policies. • Reviews KOC projects and technical procedures to ensure compliance with safety related policies and procedures, updates existing regulations and recommends amendments as necessary to cope with modified international code and standards. • Examines, inspects and carries out risk analysis/hazard operability (HAZOP) and loss prevention programmes for company’s installations and operations and submits reports with recommendations to supervisor accordingly. • Audits work practices to ensure compliance with safety related policies and procedures, updates existing regulations and recommends amendments as necessary to cope with modified international codes and standards. • Attends to emergencies/accidents and provides technical consultations, conducts investigations and follows-up on corrective actions of potential safety problems. • Inspects Diving Gears and Decompression Champers and their associated certificates as per the International Marine Contractors Association Codes (IMCA) when assigned to HSE (E&MO). • Ensures the compliance of all KOC and contractors marine vessels to International Safety Management Code (ISM) where applicable, when assigned to HSE (E&M0). • Carries out safety training and promotional programmes and takes required action for implementation of such programs includes giving lectures with illustrations, arranging distribution of posters and training on the use of breathing apparatus and safety devices Monitors and reviews near miss reported accidents. • Formulates and recommends changes to KOC safety regulations to overcome deficiencies and to meet the needs of the KOC on specific circumstances. Discusses such changes or proposals with the appropriate departmental heads prior to recommendations. • Prepares an evacuation safety plan for field areas and buildings, examines or supervises the plan on implementation stage • Inspects permit to work on sites and suspends work when identifying imminent danger. • Keeps abreast of latest developments in the field of safety and participates in Health, Safety & Environment Committee meetings and other safety awareness programmes. • Carries out other related duties such as handling incident and follow reporting procedure to reduce the amount of loss and controlling The risk, attending meetings, preparing reports, using advanced computer software as an aid to projects, safety and awareness programmes, presentation and training slides and testing of H2S gas and 02 percentage using combustible gas devices, explosive meters as required to determine safe work atmosphere and providing necessary reports as required. • Has daily contact with other Team up to Team Leader level to discuss accidents, findings or recommendations and to give advice or instructions • Has regular contact with Govt. officials in traffic and public security up to Director Level to discuss accidents. • Has regular contact with Contractor’s personnel when checking/advising them on safety measures or discussing new products with manufacturer’s representatives. • Has regular contact with members of the public when investigating domestic or traffic accidents INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATION & ACCOUNTABILITY: • Reports to Snr. Engineer Services (HSE). • Performs duties according to established policies and Company’s safety regulations. Work assignments are subject to review. • Accountable for maintaining safety and inspection programmes to minimize number and severity of accidents and injuries. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Education & Training: University Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent preferably in Fire & Safety. • Experience (General & Specialized): 8 years’ experience in industrial safety and accident prevention in oil industrial environment, including 2 years familiarization within the KOC. • Graduate Engineer (Chemical, Electrical, Environment, Safety or Mechanical Engineer) from a recognized University or equivalent in the discipline. Shall valid certification from international reorganization bodies such as NEBOSH/IOSH/Certified Diploma in Health/ Environment/safety/ASP. • Membership of Kuwait Society of Engineers. • Must have a valid Kuwait Driving License

9. Position Title : Safety Officer
SUMMARY: • Ensures the application of the KOC safety policies and programmes, detects unsafe work practices and conditions and analyses accidents.
FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conducts inspections and surveys on all KOC land and off-shore installations, Construction sites, drilling rigs etc according to pre-set schedule to ensure the KOC Fire & Safety regulations, standards and i-ISE policies are applied Identities unsafe work practice, un-authorized excavation suspends work if imminent danger appears and prepares reports by findings and recommends immediate remedial action to area work supervisor Prepares infringement reports with recommended remedial action and follows up corrective measures • Investigates arid analyses cause of industrial and traffic accidents involving KOC plant. Personnel, vehicle and Contractors submits reports with appropriate recommendations to supervisor this involves liaison with public security officers and the KOC Transport & Plant Department when preparing accident reports. • Examines specifications of new constructions and equipment from HSE point of view and presents recommendations as required. Conducts/follows-up surveys of facilities to detect unsafe conditions and work practices, discusses with concerned job officers. • Carries out inspection of LPG. Oil Tankers and cargo ships and calls for suspension of loading if contravening KOC safety regulation. Also inspects vehicles, cranes and welding sets before and approves for work in hazardous areas. • Monitors daily work practices followed by KOC departments, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with KOC Explosive Ordnance Safety regulations. • Investigates ordnance related accidents and maintains comprehensive EOD records for all KOC premises. Prepares reports to prevent any reoccurrence. • Responds to reported suspect EOD objects within KOC areas; this involves identifying and evaluating potential hazard or danger and clearing of EOD as necessary in liaison with Public Security Officers and Kuwait Ministry of Defense Personnel. • Carries out safety training and promotional programmes and takes required action for implementation of such programmes Includes giving lectures with illustrations arranging distribution of posters and training on the use of breathing systems, safety devices and basic explosive ordinance awareness and on job training for newly joined UD Safety Engineers/UT Safety Officers • Escorts when necessary heavily loaded vehicle and rig movements in various KOC areas • Carries out gas testing utilizing various safety devices such as combustible gas device, explosive meters as required k) Carries out inspection, maintenance and re-filling of breathing apparatus sets and responds to emergencies as instructed • Carries out inspection, maintenance and re-filling of breathing apparatus sets and responds to emergencies as instructed • Updates the EOD maps/drawings for KOC operational areas and issues the EOD clearance certificates to the requesting departments upon checking. Prepares monthly EOD reports. • Performs other related duties as checking and signing excavation notification, attending HSE committee meetings, maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge, advising job officers on safety matters and driving KOC vehicle as and when required, operating PC and directing the contractor safety personnel. INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATION & ACCOUNTABILITY: • Reports to Safety Engineer. • Performs assigned duties according to established programmes, guided by Company’s established procedures. Supervisor is regularly informed of work progress and spot-checks and follows up on work through reports. • Accountable for performing inspection and checking duties n accordance with established programmes and for reporting violation and unsafe working conditions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Diploma in Engineering or graduate in Science. • Must have attended one or more HSE courses in any category of training in general industrial safety, construction safety, etc. • AGT – Level 1 (authorized gas tester) certification for confined entry. • NEBOSH /OSHA/ IOSH/ Certification or Diploma in Safety is an advantage. • Fluency in both spoken & written English and Arabic added advantage. EDUCATION & TRAINING: • Completion of Secondary School Education plus 2 years Diploma in Safety and other related discipline Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English. • Experience (General& Specialized): 8 years in safety and accident prevention including 2 years within the KOC for familiarization • Must have a valid Kuwait Driving License

10. Position Title : Foreman Cum Driver
SUMMARY: • Foreman shall supervise the execution of work specified in the Contract and Works requested by the KOC Site Representative. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Liaise with supervising Engineer for scheduling and execution of works. • Shall distribute manpower to specific work location and follow-up progress. • Shall prepare requisition for maintenance supplies, supervise site work and make sure that materials, equipment and tools are properly provided. • Shall ensure that site works are complying with KOC safety standards. • Capable of preparing maintenance schedules and reports along with routine maintenance for the complete facilities. JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION: • Shall be at least diploma in Civil Engineering or Associate in Applied Technical. • Shall be fluent in spoken and written English as well as can communicate in Arabic. • Must be well acquainted in using PC””s and Software released by Microsoft (i.e. Windows, Excel, etc.). • Making PowerPoint presentations • Shall have valid Kuwait Driving License. • Shall have at least minimum 8 years’ experience in the work specified.

11. Position Title : Supervisor Civil
