Required: HR Officer Reports To: HR Manager or HR Director
Job Summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and supporting various HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of the human resources department. This role involves handling recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
o Assist in creating and posting job advertisements.
o Coordinate and conduct initial screening of candidates.
o Schedule and conduct interviews.
o Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and necessary paperwork.
2. Employee Relations:
o Act as a point of contact for employees’ HR-related queries. o Address and resolve employee conflicts or issues in a fair and consistent manner.
o Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement. 3. Government Relations:
o The ideal candidate should be bilingual (English and Arabic)
o Should have knowledge of using the electronic platform of different ministries such as PAM, MOI, MOCI etc.
o Manage Mandoups for their daily works
4. HR Administration:
o Maintain accurate employee records and databases.
o Handle administrative tasks related to employee benefits, payroll, and leave management.
o Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
5. Training and Development:
o Assist in identifying training needs and organizing training sessions.
o Support employee development initiatives and career progression planning.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure adherence to legal requirements and company policies.
o Prepare and submit HR-related reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.
o Keep up-to-date with changes in labor laws and HR best practices.
7. Employee Engagement:
o Organize and support employee engagement activities and initiatives.
o Gather feedback from employees to improve HR processes and workplace environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Officer or similar.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Should be Bilingual ( English and Arabic)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
