*The Role in brief*
This role is primarily responsible for promoting company’s logistics services, finding new clients, maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, and achieving set sales targets.
*Major Responsibilities*
Responsible for finding new customers and generate good revenue for the company. Monthly preparation of billing/pricing for the customers.
Analyse industry trends and help to develop services that address market demands and identify new market opportunities.
Create sales opportunity plan and coordinate all sales efforts to successfully expand company’s third party logistics business.
Directly engage with leads including conducting daily sales calls
Consistently meet/exceed defined sales targets Maintain excellent relationships with prospective and existing clients
Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
Keep abreast of developments in various sectors of the third party logistics market and closely watch and report on industry updates
Prepare significant periodic reports. Ensure all sales activities are conducted within the company’s policies and code of business ethics
*Required Qualifications*
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or other relevant field. Minimum one year sales experience in 3PL/ logistics & transportation
*Required Skills*
Up to date knowledge of logistics market, supply chain industry and sales strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and business writing skills with fluency in English. Strong negotiation and influencing skills Ability to produce analytical reports Efficient in MS Office, Planning and time management skills.
